Finding Abundance in 2020

Abundance, 2020, oil on canvas, 61 x 91.4 cm, 24 x 36 in, $865. This post has a happy ending, I promise, so please stay with me… THE PANDEMIC’S DROUGHT OF PLENTY We are all feeling this pandemic, each in our own way. My thought patterns can easily drift toward scarcity if I’m not careful. That this pandemic and its constraints mean lack, a drought of options, of security, of excitement, of joy. That we are deprived of what we need to thrive and live fully. When I think this way, I am looking for abundance defined by my expectations…

Love the Magnolia

Our home is positioned on the bend of a busy road, such that drivers approach having a long view of one end of our front lawn. Every spring, the forsythia and magnolia planted there flower into an abundant riot of gorgeousness, offering drivers a view which soothes many winter-weary eyes. New Work Available

September always feels like a fresh start, a New Year of sorts.  As summer draws to a close, I feel the need to organize, clear out. The quiet of these past months has allowed me to devote regular time at the easel, exploring and working on several projects, one of which is florals, a series I title “Messengers from Another Realm”.  My work lately has been a celebration of nature’s finest, the beauty offered by our world, which no pandemic may touch. I will be offering these works for sale, as they are completed.  New works will be posted on…

Hello, Gorgeous

“Hello, Gorgeous” is the latest work in a series titled “Messengers from Another Realm”. WHAT IS ART FOR? Luckily, once again, I’ve been…

Messengers from Another Realm
